Newport Pacific Family of Companies is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Yuma, AZ
Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general maintenance tasks as well as some administrative tasks as an occasional backup to the Community Manager. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills and proficient knowledge of:
- Building and facility maintenance.
- Plumbing and electrical systems.
- Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric and water).
- Groundskeeping and landscape.
- Swimming pool maintenance.
- General carpentry.
- Basic office administrator skills.
- Skilled in operating various hand tools, landscaping equipment, general maintenance equipment, and safety equipment.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Available to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of normal business hours.
- Capable of providing office coverage in the Community Manager’s absence.
- 1 year of general maintenance experience (property management experience a plus)
- $17-$18 per hour DOE with a benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
